Living in Color

It was in conversation with a friend recently on a gorgeous hike above highway 1, when I had starting talking about a prior moment I had with my mother months ago during a trip back to the east coast. I had said "When I die, I want to live in the colors of the cosmos and the universe". The reference I had for that thought was looking at recent photos of our universe. The colors, and imagined textures something I can only describe as a dream. My mom said to me very simply and without any hesitation, "You are living in the colors of the universe". And that has stuck with me. So here we are all, living in the colors of the universe. And we must remember to live.
