The Star

I really like this quote to think about as I work on a Tarot Card jewelry collection inspired by 3 Tarot Cards. One of the Tarot cards I am working on is The Star. When you look at this card you see a woman pouring water back into the pond below her feet. The ground is fertile and green below her, and she is haloed by 8 stars above her body, providing a perfect frame. The mountains are in the background, and a bird sweetly perches on a tree in the foreground, almost of a guardian. Her naked body is giving to the earth, its yielding to the stars, pouring into the cosmic blue life force that is water and earth. 

We as humanity have been looking to the stars for answers, guidance, and interpretations of our beings since our creation. I love the metaphor of following your own star. This means confidence and security in who you are as a person on a deep gut level. To be brave enough to forge your path in the world, and make your life what you want it to be. Your life is the greatest project you'll ever work on. <3
